A Celebration of Life service for Dudley Cobb, age 66 of Clarksville, will be Monday, Jan 15, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church. Bro. Steve Murphree, Bro. Derek Smith, and Brother John Richardson will officiate. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday, Jan 14, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home and Monday, Jan 15, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church.
Dudley went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Jan 11, 2018. He was born on Aug 30, 1951 in Montgomery County, TN to Gordon and Geneva Bowers Cobb. He liked fishing and was an avid car enthusiast. Dudley was a 1969 graduate of Clarksville High School. He retired in 2015 from Kroger after 45 years. He was a member of Hilldale Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother Wendell Cobb, and is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Donna Burdeshaw Cobb, sons, Brandon (Lisa) Cobb and Brian Cobb, grandson Ty Cobb, and sister in law Debra Cobb of Cookeville, TN and aunt Ann Turner Shelton of Pembroke, KY.
Pallbearers will be; Don Smith, Jmmy Dean Manners, David Bearden, Bob Frost, John Claxton, and Monte Graves. Honorary Pallbearers are Bill Crosby and Gary Crosby.
