Douglas Thomas

A Celebration of Life service for Douglas Edward Thomas, age 68 of Clarksville, will be Friday, July 24, 2020, at 3:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. The family will visit with friends on Friday for one hour prior to the service.

Douglas passed away on July 19, 2020. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri to Warren and Thressa Henry Thomas.

In addition to his parents Doug is preceded in death by his son Douglas Earl Thomas. He is survived by his loving wife Verna Roush, daughter Carolyn (Russell) Neild, stepdaughters Wendy(Chris)Bryant and Shelley Roush, Brother Warren (Virginia) Thomas, sisters; Patricia Gardner and Bonnie Harmon all of Missouri, and 8 grandchildren.

Doug served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany and Vietnam. He was also the kitchen manager at
Shoney's for many years.
