Douglas Mcewing

Visitation for Douglas Gordan McEwing, age 63, will be Wednesday, March 9th from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home.

Douglas  passed away on Monday, March 7th, 2016 at Tennova Health Care. Douglas was born on November 10, 1952 in Clarksville, TN to Lee and Jocie McEwing. Douglas served in the United States Army and was employed at A.O Smith for fifteen years.

In addition to his parents, Douglas is preceded in death by his lifelong partner of thirty years, Jonnie Shirk.

He is survived by his son, John Michael Shirk, daughter, Tamra Kelly, brother, Donald McEwing, sister, Peggy Winegarden, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
