Mr. Dorris G. "Buddy" Watts, 63 of Clarksville passed away Thursday March 3, 2011 after a lengthy illness at Clarksville Nursing and Rehab Center. Mr. Watts was born March 14, 1947 in Montgomery County to the late Gilbert and Florence Daniels Watts.
Sykes Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements. A funeral serivce will be held at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Monday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.Mr. Watts was the Plant manager for Baltz Brothers Meat Packing plant in Nashville as well as plant manager at Tile Cera in Clarksville. He was a member of the Masons, York Rite, Shriners and a Viet Nam Veteran. While serving in the US Army he received the National Defense Service Medal, Viet Nam Service Medal, Viet Nam Campaign Medal, Army Commendation Medal and Good Conduct Medal. He is survived by his wife Jovonia Sue Lane Watts; daugter, Gina Danielle (Fran) Silveira and granddaughter Haley Noelle Silveira. Pallbearers will David Watts, Albert Acuna, Don Bowers, Carl Edwards, Duane Beecham and Fran Silveira. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
