Dorothy Ann Shock

A Graveside service for Dorothy Ann Shock, age 95, of Clarksville, TN, will be Thursday, December 14, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Nicholson Cemetery. Pastors Mike Burton and Wendell Moore will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Sykes Funeral Home. 

Dorothy was born on February 20, 1928, in Henrietta, TN, to Ewing and Edna Nicholson. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy. Dorothy enjoyed being active in her church and going out to eat. 

In addition to her parents, Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Shock; daughter, Cathy Shock; brothers, Lawrence Nicholson and Glendon Nicholson; and granddaughter, Tara Shock. She is survived by her children: Lowell (Kathy) Shock, Raymond (Connie) Shock, and Robert (Angela) Shock; grandchildren: Kyle Shock, Trey (Crystal) Shock, Cara (Joseph) Graham, and Leslie (Jeremy) Norwood; and great-grandchildren: Guthrie Graham, Madison Graham, Darcy Norwood, Mason Norwood, and Izzy Shock.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Ben Long, Jacob Long, and Charles Long.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Nicholson Cemetery c/o Pam Whitfield 3535 Ashland City Road, Clarksville, TN, 37043.
