Dorothy L. Payne, age91, of Clarksville passed away Friday, November 7, 2014 at her residence. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. The Funeral will be at 10
:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 11, 2014
at Sykes Funeral Home with Rev. Bryan Marcoulier officiating. Visitation will be
4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
on
Monday, November 10, 2014 and 9:00 a.m.
until the hour of service on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Salem Cemetery.
Mrs. Payne was born July 19, 1923 in Clarksville, TN to the late Richard and Jenny Martin Knight. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Earl Payne; sons, Jimmy Payne and Johnny Payne.
She was Nurse at Memorial Hospital and a member of Salem United Methodist Church.
She is survived by daughters, Patty Bierman, Debbie Elrod, Nancy Dunn, Margaret Nolen; 10 grandchildren; 17 grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
