Dorothy Matilda Anderson Grier, 99 of Clarksville passed away April 15, 2011 at her home following a brief illness. A memorial service is scheduled for Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church with Pastor Peters officiating.
Mrs. Grier was born January 13, 1912 in Stordon, MN daughter of the late Henry and Randa Engebretson Anderson. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Grier was preceded in death by her husband, Lester L. Grier and eight brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Grier was a homemaker who enjoyed golfing, quilting, knitting and playing cards. She was a member of Granite Falls Lutheran Church. Mrs. Grier is survived by her son; Dennis (Mary) Grier of Deming, NM, daughter; Leah (Richard) Jordan of Clarksville, grandchildren; Ward Haines, Chris Haines and Renee Casias and great-grandchild; Seth Casias.
She leaves a community of friends and family blessed by her love. We now entrust her to the God who created her and to Jesus who loves her, and claims her as his own. Memorial donations may be made to Grace Lutheran Church.
