Dorothy Finney

Dorothy (Dot) Mae Shepherd Finney of Clarksville, went to be with the Lord on September 26, 2018.

The funeral will be Sunday, September 30, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home with
Bro. Terrell Marcom & Bro. Bill Morris officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again on Sunday from 12:00 PM until the hour of service. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.

Dot was born May 17, 1942 in Stewart Co. TN to Calvin Shepherd and Emmedie Glisson Shepherd.

She was a member of Excell Baptist Church. Dot was a housewife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She truly loved her family and her dear friends.

Dot was preceded in death by her parents, son Randy L. Finney and daughter Amy C. Finney,
and survived by her husband, Frank Wendell Finney, two sons; Jeffery W. Finney and his wife Lori (Gallatin), James (Pat) Finney and his wife Cathy (both of Clarksville), sister Nancy Evans (Clarksville), two brothers Douglas Shepherd (Nancy)
and Lewis Shepherd (Florence) of Indian Mound, TN, grandchildren Jake Finney (Danielle), Zack Finney and Betty Kay Finney-Hundley, Natalie Finney Winslow (Conor), Megan Finney Parker (Judd), Garrett Finney (Ashley), and great grandchildren; Ireland, Mya, Fisher, Levi, Lucie, Pennie, Tallulah, and Cline.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Excell Baptist Church Building Fund.
