Dorothy Burt

Dorothy Virginia Burt, age 83, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on October 21, 2023. She was born on January 14, 1940, in Washington, D.C. to Earle and Ethel Swetland. Dorothy loved being with family, traveling, being at the mountains or the beach, gardening, her dog-Chloe, and eating crab legs. She will be missed and always remembered by her family. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Allen Burt Sr. and daughter, Virginia Stallcup. Dorothy is survived by her children: Thomas (Mary) Burt Jr., Teresa Gish, Cheryl McDonald, Lori Burt, and Anthony Burt; and 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. 

She will be laid to rest along with her husband at a later date at Kentucky Veteran's Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, KY.
