Auborn Donald Morrison, age 83 of Clarksville passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Gateway Medical Center. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 2, 2014 at Sykes Funeral Home and on Monday 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the Funeral Home. The Funeral will be held 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 3, 2014 at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ted Denny and Rev. Joseph R. Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
He was born in Clarksville on March 10, 1930 to the late Mack H. Morrison. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Hogue Morrison and a brother, Mac O. Morrison.
He was retired from CEMC, a Veteran of the US Army and a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
He is survived by daughters, Jan Morrison, Sherri (Chuck) Wood; granddaughters, Jessica (Dylen) Roberts, Rachel Wood; special nieces, Joyce Hogue and Carol Hogue.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bethel Baptist Church Building Fund.
