Donald Edward Bartee, 84 originally of Palmyra, passed away April 6, 2011 at New Port Richey Community Hospital in New Port Richey, Florida.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Palmyra United Methodist Church from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be at 12:00 p.m. at the church with Pastor Adam Mayo officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Mr. Bartee was born March 24, 1927 in Palmyra, son of the late James Irwin Bartee and Lena Elma Nolon Bartee. Mr. Bartee was a steel worker in the steel mill industry and attended the Assembly of God Church. He is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Mr. Bartee is survived by his wife, Maria Dill Bartee, daughters; Donna (Daniel) Bartee-Robertson, Rhonda (Jessie) Duran, a brother William "Bill" Bartee, three grandchildren and one great grandchild. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
