Dennis Edward Myers, age 61, of Clarksville passed away November 13, 2013 at Centennial Medical Center. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tom Lynch officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Friday, November 15 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and again Saturday from 12:00 until the hour of service.
Dennis was born February 13, 1952 in White Pine, TN to the late Alvin and Dora Shiflet Birthrong. He worked the majority of his life in civil service at Fort Campbell, KY and was a member of New Providence Church of Christ. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers Marvin Birthrong and Jeffrey Birthrong.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Myers; daughter, Carolyn (Patrick) Johnson; grandchildren, Alliana Johnson and Kaiden Johnson; brothers, Terry Birthrong, Michael (Peggy) Birthrong, and Ronald (Cheryl) Birthrong. Online condolences may be made at www.sykesfuneralhome.com.
