Dennis Luther Kimbro (age 60) of Bon Aqua, TN went to his eternal home at the Veterans Hospital in Nashville on Wednesday, October 12, 2011. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 18 at Harpeth Baptist Church at 11:30 in Kingston Springs, TN, with Rev. Chanc Strickland and Rev. George B. Rye officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:30 . Burial will be in Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery located in Nashville, TN.
Dennis was born in Michigan on October 4, 1951 to Luther and Shirley Kimbro. A self employed house painter and decorator, Dennis was also a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving as a member of the Green Beret Special Forces, and then went on to graduate with honors from Tennessee State University, with his degree in journalism and theater. He is survived by his wife Ann Kimbro, and daughters Racheal and Alisha Kimbro. He is also survived by his sons: Chuck Keltz (wife Kelli), Don Keltz, Rick Keltz (wife Tania), Brian Keltz (wife Amber), and his 9 grandchildren.
