Della Edwards

A Celebration of Life service for Mardella "Della" Edwards,73, of Clarksville, TN will be Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 from 11:00 AM until the hour of service.

Della was born on January 31, 1951 in Emporia, Kansas to Leon Roy Lamoureux and Betty Willey. Della was a hairdresser for many years and then moved on to be the membership coordinator at Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana and Middle Tennessee. She was an active member of the Moose Lodge. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, making bows, reading, and traveling to the beach. Della loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by, her husband Rex "Tex" Edwards. She is survived by her daughter, Stacy Edwards Myers, grandchildren, Mykheala (Efraim) Rosario, Bre Myers, and Jaylen Myers, great- grandchildren, Ellie Mae, Hadi Ann, Beau Thomas, siblings, Denise (Clint) Webber, Ethel Button, Cyndi (Gary) Parker, and Leeona Yardley. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Gentiva Hospice for their care during this time.
