Graveside service for David Lee Thomas Sr., age 74 of Clarksville, will be Wednesday, July 06, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 05, 2016 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sykes Funeral Home Chapel.
David passed away on Friday, July 01, 2016 at his residence. He was born on December 31, 1941 in Gastonia, North Carolina to James Thomas and Virginia Wilson. David was retired from the United States Army and served during the Vietnam War, Thomas received numerous medals and awards during his three tours of duty.
He is survived by his daughters; Pamela (Vincent) Eads, and Becky Steward, sons; David (Darla) Thomas, Jr., and Jamie(Jennifer) Thomas, Eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
