David Parker

A Celebration of Life service for William David Parker Sr., age 75 of Clarksville, will be Monday, April 8, 2019 at 5:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home with Bro. David Mackens officiating. The family will visit with friends on Monday, April 8, 2019 from 3:00 PM until the time of service. David  passed away on Friday, April 5, 2019 at Tennova Healthcare with loved ones.  He was born on March 24, 1944 to Mikel and Robie Huggins Parker.

David retired from the Montgomery County Highway Department and lived most of his life on the family farm in Salem. He spent a number of years running a fruit and vegetable stand, Parker Produce, in the Round Pond community.

In addition to his parents David is preceded in death by his son William David Parker, Jr. and sister Margie Durling. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years Margie Parker, children: Dana Ann (Steve) Koverman, Kimberly (Rodney) Fields, Stephanie (Darren) Estes, and Keith Parker, siblings: Dorothy Hipkins, Paul (Patsy) Parker, Martha Nell (Ray) Woodall, 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
