David C. Norman III 74 of Clarksville, died Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Grace Care & Rehab. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM till 8:00 PM Tuesday and 9:00 AM until funeral hour on Wednesday. David was born on June 29, 1937 in Montgomery County to the late David C. & Lola Mae Gibbs Norman II. He retired from Acme Boot Company. He was a Baptist. David was preceded in death by a step daughter, Margaret Jo Harris, brothers Glenn & Fred Norman and a sister Helen Hale. He is survived by his wife Linda Gilland Norman, step-sons, Johnny Dickinson of Fl., David Dickinson of Clarksville, Charles L. Currier of Fl. Step daughters Martha Bell of Fl. Jackie Dickinson of Ky., Theresa Eckhart of Fl., brother, Kent Norman of Clarksville, sisters, Ann Stone of In., Christine Demonbreun of Clarksville, 4 step grandchildren and 9 step great grandchildren
