Cynthia Lou Kinney Corner

A Celebration of Life service for Cynthia Lou Kinney Corner, 64, of Woodlawn, TN will be Monday, March 31, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home with Bro. J.D. Justice officiating. The family will receive friends from on Monday from 1:30 PM until the hour of service.

Cynthia was born on August 8, 1960 in Jamestown, NY to Shirley Rose Kunselman Platt and Charles Marcus Kinney. She passed away on March 14, 2025 at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville, TN. Cynthia was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving step father, Gene Platt, all of her in-laws, brothers: Chuck Kinney, Tim Kinney, and Danny Kinney; brother- law, Scott Corner, step- brother, Robert Platt, and niece, Trisha Kinney- Pelinsky. Cynthia is survived by her husband, Glenn R. Corner of Woodlawn, TN, children, Glenn A. Corner of Woodlawn, TN and Samantha (Shawn) Rose of Woodlawn, TN, grandchildren: Levi Earwood of Clarksville, TN, Cayden Smith of Clarksville, TN, Savannah Rose of Clarksville, TN, and Kensleigh Day of Hopkinsville, KY; sisters, Kathy Fenno of Northeast, PA and Stacy (Kevin) Moore of Big Springs, TX, step-brothers: Brian (LouAnn) of Colorado, Jim (Amy) Platt, of Harborcreek, PA, brothers: Travis Platt of Brookeville, PA, and Dennis Platt, of Brookeville, PA, and brother-in-law Michael Rowland, of Bartow, FL; sister-in-law, Diana Kinney of Northeast, PA and Robyn Masters of Bartow, FL; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins, and her good friend, Cheryl McKinney.
