CWO4 Robert Lee Atkinson, Sr. (Ret), age 88 of Clarksville, passed away on Monday, September 24,2018 at Tennova Healthcare. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Sykes Funeral home . The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to the service.

Robert was born on September 5, 1930 in Paris, Illinois to Ruth Kizer. He served in the United States Marine Corps for 26 years and was a member of the Masonic Lodge 89.

He is survived by his wife Deborah Rhoads, sons; Robert Lee Atkinson, Jr. and Larry Atkinson, daughters; Valori Atkinson and Krystal Gray, grandchildren; Krystal Griffin Whitwell, Billy Williams, Melissa Black, Jay Williams, Sara Williams, Blake Nutter, Tracy Kelly, and Diana Baugh, and Chase Gray, many great-grandchildren, and step-children; Donald Kazee, Raymond Mullins, and Susie Lynch.
