Cw3 Edgar Hinkle, Army (Ret)

A Celebration of Life service for CW3 Edgar "Ed" Hinkle, 70, of Clarksville, TN, will be Monday, January 3, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Sango United Methodist Chuch. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the church. Inurnment will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West where full military honors will be rendered. Ed was born on December 5, 1951 to Earl and Neoma Hinkle. He passed away on December 6, 2021.

Ed was a proud retiree of the United States Army where he served over 20 years. He was a member of Sango United Methodist Church and enjoyed being with his family, gardening, and fishing.

In addition to his parents, Ed is preceded in death by his son, Michael Kaufmann and brother, Bedford Hinkle. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Doris Hinkle; sons, Brian Hinkle and Chad Kaufmann; sisters, Grace (Ashby) Dietz and Emma Freeman; and grandchildren, Hannah Hinkle, Rose Keefer, and Rylee Hinkle.
