Funeral service for CW2 Richard Lester Bray (Ret), age 63 of Clarksville, will be Wednesday, Mar 07, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Sykes Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Mar 06, 2018 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sykes Funeral Home and again on Wednesday, Mar 07, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Sykes Funeral Home.
There will be a Masonic service held on Tuesday night at 6:00 PM.

Richard  passed away on Friday, Mar 02, 2018.  He was born on Jul 27, 1954 in Sacramento, CA to Richard  Bray and Elsie Goff Bray. He was retired from the United States Army after 22 years of service where he received many awards and medals. His tours of duty included the Vietnam, Korean, and Persian Gulf Wars.

Richard was a member of the TN Woodcarvers Association. He was an avid fisherman, loved photography, NASCAR, and was pretty good at drinking beer.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Rachel Bray, and sister Linda Avila, and survived by his daughters; Cheri (Robert) Haney and Jennifer (Jonathan) Erwin, sisters; Karen Romine and Veronica Deadmond, Fiance Beverly Holloway and 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
