Curtis Stephen Grant, age 67 of Clarksville, passed away Monday, May 4, 2015 at his residence. Sykes Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Hilldale Baptist Church with Dr. Larry Robertson, Rev. Terry Brown and Rev. James Shepherd officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. until the hour of service on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Hilldale Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
He was born in Bar Harbor, Maine on September 18, 1947 to the late Lawrence C. and Janet Higgins Grant. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Grant.
He was retired from the U.S. Army as an infantryman and a member of Hilldale Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Presley Grant; daughters, Jana (Chris) Hudson, Jill (James) Gleckler, Gina (Neal) Hicks, Shannon (Philip) Walls; brother, Vernon Campbell Grant; sister, Barbara Balkin; grandchildren, Chelsea Loomis, Preston Loomis, Raegan Gleckler, Cole Grant, Danielle Hudson, Laklyn Hudson, Brooke Hudson, Tori Hicks, Lindsey Hicks and Tyler Walls.
