U.S. Army Retired CSM Jay Brown, age 89 of Clarksville, passed away on Friday, November 13, 2015 at his residence, after battling Agent Orange for many years. He was born on April 22, 1926 in Martin Co., KY to Frank and Rosa Brown. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife of 56 years, Sarah Elizabeth Brown. He is survived by his wife, Catherine Brown and a sister, Marcella Tufts of St. Alban, West Virginia. Mr. Brown was a 30 year veteran of the United States Army where he served in WWII, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. He received many medals and awards for his service. He also loved traveling and fly fishing. No services are planned. Jay said " I entered this world without fan fair and am leaving it the same way."
