Connie Mathis

Connie Cothran Mathis, age 65 of Indian Mound, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021. She was born on May 27, 1955 in Stewart Co. TN to Floyd and Clorice Harrison Cothran. Connie was a member of Cross Creek Baptist Church of Indian Mound. She worked at Moss's for many years. Connie was loved by many and will be missed greatly.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her 1st husband, Clifton Rye; sons, Jason and Allen Rye; great-grandson, Michael Kelley; She is survived by her husband, John Mathis; daughter, Annette (William) Bottoms; siblings, Wade (Carol) Cothran and Janice Whittaker; grandchildren: Buck (Stephanie) Kelley, Jacob Kelley, Mickayla (Charlie) Hamilton; great-granddaughter, Brileigh Kelley and her brother Kasen to be born in February.
