Christine Powers Rose

A Celebration of Life service for Christine Powers Rose, age 100, of Clarksville, TN, will be Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Chigger Hill now known as Pleasant View Cemetery in Dickson, TN. Tim Ferrell will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service.

Christine was born in Montgomery County, TN, to Woody and Lillie Powers. She passed away on September 21, 2024. Christine worked in manufacturing for 50 years and was the oldest member of Locust Grove Presbyterian Church. She was a social butterfly and enjoyed helping others, shopping, and tending to her flowers. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Herschel Lee Rose; siblings: James Powers, Roy Powers, Catherine McWhorter, Woody Powers Jr., and Lewis Powers. Christine is survived by her sisters, Alice Butts and Dotty (Donnie) Allison; sisters-in-law, Jean Powers and Deanna Rose; and many nieces and nephews.

Christine's nephews will serve as pallbearers.
