Chong Short

A Celebration of Life service for Chong Short, 72, of Clarksville, TN, will be Thursday, May 6, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Chong passed away on May 1, 2021. She was born on March 20, 1949 in South Korea.

Chong enjoyed going to church, gardening, going to casinos, traveling, and she was a collector of world items.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Paul Short, and daughter Linda Sue Persky. She is survived by her grandchildren Christopher and Ashely Davis, Ginger Daniels, Amanda Scott, Jacqueline Juncker; great grandchildren, Dean Sharber, Brooke and Brock Davis, Milo, Lena, Daisy Lu, Lily, and Teddy Bear.

Inurnment will take place on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
