Charles William "Chuck" Werner, age 74, of Clarksville passed away, Friday, August 2, 2013 at his residence. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. The Funeral Service will be at 12:00 p.m. Monday, August 5, 2013 at Bethlehem UMC with Rev. Matt Kelley, Leana Perez-Felix and Jamie Mandrell officiating. Visitation will be 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, August 4, 2013 at the funeral home and on Monday, August 5, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at Bethlehem UMC. Burial will follow in the Bethlehem UMC Cemetery.
Mr. Werner was born August 6, 1938 in Portsmouth, OH to the late Arthur F. and Eunice Craft Werner. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Robin Rene Munis and sister, Paula Diller.
He was owner of Chucks Furniture in Clarksville, a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church and served in the US Army.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Gloria Knauff Werner; son, Arthur (Missy) Werner of Liberty Township, OH; daughters, Kim (Mike) Roberts, of Catlettsburg, KY, Cheryl (James) Premus of Lancaster, CA; sister, Suzette (Ed) Kleinman of West Portsmouth, OH; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as Pallbearers.
