Funeral service for Charles Dean Corlew, age 85 of Cunningham, will be Tuesday, Aug 25, 2015 at 3:00 pm at the Mt. Zion UMC. Rev. Bob Niles and Rev. Melvin Brooks will officiate. Burial will follow in the Batson Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, Aug 24, 2015 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Sykes Funeral Home and Tuesday from 1:00 pm until the time of service at the church. Charles passed away on Friday, Aug 21, 2015 at Signature Health Care of Clarksville. He was born on May 29, 1930 in Montogmery County, TN to J D Corlew and Lillian Corlew. He was a member of Mt. Zion UMC, was a farmer and an electrician and was a veteran of the US Navy. He is preceded in death by his wife Ann Swift Corlew.
