Cecil Paul Vaughan

A Celebration of Life service for Cecil Paul Vaughan, age 89 of Clarksville, will be Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sango Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:30 AM until the time of service. 

Cecil passed away on Friday, November 15, 2024. He was born on November 14, 1935 to Jack and Beatrice Vaughan. Cecil loved spending time with his grandchildren, golfing and fishing. 

Cecil was a very patient and kind man... everyone's friend, young and old. He loved helping people and always gave honest advice when asked. According to his kids and grandkids, they all feel so very lucky to have had "Pop" as an essential part of their lives. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Teresa Evans Vaughan and siblings: Vera Crain, Una Vaughan, and Gilbert Vaughan. Cecil is survived by his children, Keith (Tammy) Vaughan and Maureen (Kenneth) Griffin; grandchildren: Landy Kay (Arman) Matin, Kendyl (Bruce) Kilby, Kathryn (Matt) Gabell, Jarrod Vaughan, Andrew( Lianne) Vaughan, Kayla Vaughan (Sam Blackwood), and Megan McMillan; and great-grandchildren: Drew and Amelia Vaughan, Emma Vaughan, Fisher and Hunter Kilby, Amaya, Parker, and Griffin Gabell.
