Catherine Suiter Rich Filson, age 80 of Nashville passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at her residence. Sykes Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November, 26, 2012 at Sykes Funeral Home with Rev. Jon Justice officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, November 25, 2012 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. and on Monday 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
She was born September 23, 1932 in Clarksville, TN to the late Ed and Minnie Suiter. She was also preceded in death by her husband Frank C. Filson; brothers, Neb York, Jewell York, Carl Suiter, Lawrence Suiter; sisters, Nell Carter, Polly Sinks, Ruby Denton; She was a retired Bookkeeper.
She is survived by son, Ronald (Geraldine) Rich; daughters, Marsha Elaine Childs, Frances Jewell Filson (Steve) Thomas; brothers, Don Suiter, Jim York; grandchildren, Ron (Chirsty) Rich, Jr., Vivian Firestone, Chistopher (Maria) Firestone.
Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
