Carol Ann Edwards Austin, age 61, of Clarksville passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at her residence. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 1, 2013 at Sykes Funeral Home. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2013 and 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service on Sunday at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
Carol was born on May 11, 1952 in Clarksville, TN to the late Roy N. and Hattie Lee Moorefield Edwards. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Roy Edwards and James Ray Edwards.
She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church.
She is survived by children, Charles (Sarah) Austin, Pam (Clarence) Crawley; brothers, Charles (Diane) Edwards, Ralph Edwards; grandchildren, Dominique Snipe, Kylar Austin, Charlize Austin, Sydnee Crawley, Noelle Crawley, Sophia Crawley, Trevor Crawley, Javon Peters, Lilillianna Farmer and 4 great-grandchildren.
Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the local Habitat for Humanity.
