Calvin Roderick Lee, was born on January 1, 1959 at Fort Campbell, KY. He was also the first baby born and celebrated on this day at Fort Campbell Hospital. He was the fourth child born to the late Robert Lee and Callie LeeCalvin’s illness forced him into early retirement. What made Calvin so special and dear to whomever he met, was his ability to speak on just about every topic. He was a gifted person also with great advice. He was someone you felt comfortable with, where you could be yourself. Calvin’s laughter, quick wit and countless hours of conversations will truly be missed. He received Christ at an early age. Calvin was called home to be with his Heavenly Father on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 5:25pm at Receiving Hospital in Detroit, MI. In his passing he leaves two daughters; Callie Lee of Columbus, OH and Zipporah Lee of Birmingham, AL. Three sons; Ammon Lee, Keleaf Lee, and Hebrow Lee all from Birmingham, AL. Three sisters: La’Verne Brown of Henderson, TX, La’Villa Lee of Detroit, MI and Deidre Lee of Belleville, MI. One Brother, Robert A. Lee proceeded him in death. He is survived by seven nieces and six nephews. He also has two very good friends, which he has had for many years, Ricky Kelly and Walter Thomas.
