Buster `Joe` Joseph Sheppard, 49, Clarksville, died Monday, September 20, 2010, at his home. The funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard Wesley officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday and from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
Buster Joseph Sheppard was born June 10, 1961 in Detroit MI, son of Charlotte Sexton and the late Buster (Buck) Sheppard. He was the beloved grandson of Horace and Lucille Grant and the late Herbert and Louise Sheppard. Joe was a Tech at World Color for 21 years. Joe was a diabetic. Thank you special girls at work who was always looking out for him and his health problems. His cousin Troy was like a brother.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his step-father Buddy Sexton, sisters Debbie Nulty of Clarksville and Penny Paulson of Clarkston, MD. Six nephews, two nieces, and great-uncle to eight little ones. Family will serve as pallbearers.
