Bukunola Iyabo Sanyaolu
passed away on Sunday April 14, 2013 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. A Home-going Celebration will be 1:00 pm Saturday, May 4th 2013 at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Landa K. Raufu officiating. Visitation will begin 12:00 pm and continue until the hour of service. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery, Sango, TN.
Bukunola was born September 17, 1961 in Nigeria to the late Oluwole Sanyaolu and Alhaja Mutiatu Sanyaolu. She worked as a secretary for several years at Tunyo Nursery & Primary School, Lagos, Nigeria. She later earned her childcare certification while at Fort Drum, NY which enabled her to serve as a childcare giver for the Child Development Center on Fort Campbell. Ms. Sanyaolu was a member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Agape House where she loved and served God wholeheartedly. She demonstrated her love for the Lord through her compassionate services to others. She was very active and enjoyed reading and studying the Bible, cooking, spending time with loved ones and shopping.
Her Heavenly Father whom she loved most called her to glory on Sunday April 14, 2013.
In addition to her mother she is survived by her children; daughter, Olubusola Shokunbi; sons, Olatunji Ajanaku and Gbenga Ajanaku. Online condolences may be made at www.sykesfuneralhome.com
