Bruce Lamar Ashley

A Celebration of Life service for Bruce Lamar Ashley, 64, of Oak Grove, KY will be Friday, April 4, 2025 at 2:30 PM at Sykes Funeral Home with Elder Sherman Nettles officiating.

Bruce was born on October 6, 1960 to James Henry Ashley and Carole Elizabeth Porter in Los Angeles, CA. Bruce loved music and took pride in the fact that he taught himself how to play the guitar. He was a great electrician and Christian. He also loved to dance and hanging out with his dogs, Darue and Morpheus.

He is preceded in death by his father, James Ashley and brother, Cinque Marshall. He is survived by his mother, Carole Porter, wife, Terrell Ashley, and his children, Corey Ashley and Candace Ashley. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Santana and Corrine and his sister, Berchelle (Shelle) Ashley-Cleveland. Stepchildren: Peter Hunter, Shamel (Kenya) Hughes, Shawn Bryant, and Jennifer Epps and numerous step-grandchildren, including Juelz.
