Brittany Workman Monday

A Celebration of Life service for Brittany Workman Monday, age 44, of Clarksville, TN, will be Monday, September 5, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Bro. Stephen Ramsey will officiate. Burial will follow at Southside Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, September 4, 2022 from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM and again on Monday from 1:00 PM until the time of service.

Brittany was born in Clarksville, TN, on May 26, 1978. She was surrounded by her loving family as she was taken to her heavenly home on  September 2, 2022.

Brittany was the Assistant Vice President of the Mortgage Division at Cumberland Bank & Trust and was employed for 16 years with Heritage Bank/ First Advantage Bank prior to that. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, admired sister, beloved daughter, and trusted friend. Brittany built her life around her family and her career. She loved making memories with her daughters, sitting on the patio with her husband, and surrounding herself with the ones who loved her. Brittany enjoyed cooking, riding ATVs, gardening and raising crops of tobacco, trips to Gatlinburg, and cheering on the Tennessee Vols. She will be missed by all that were lucky enough to know and love her.

Brittany is preceded in death by her father, William Workman; grandparents: Dr. Rodney and Mary Nell Workman, LTC Eugene Parker (Ret), Dorothy Parker, and nephew, Trent Dickson. She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Mitch Monday; daughters, Hannah and Gracie Monday; mother, Dr. Diana Lynn Tyndall; siblings: Mary Beth (Robert) Jett, Buffy (Ollie) Schmitz, Brad (Beth) Workman, and Ben (Jessica) Workman; mother-in-law, Sue Richard; and many loving nephews, nieces, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Brad Workman, Ben Workman, Dustin Cole, JT Cole, Kyle Workman, and Slate Workman. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Jett, Matt Monday, Ken McKee, Frank Tornatore, Van Clark, Ollie Schmitz, Jason Pepper, and Roy Monday.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The James Mitchell Monday Trust Fund that has been set up for Hannah and Gracie at Cumberland Bank & Trust.
