Brent Anthony Bazzell passed away on Monday, the 9th of February, 2025 at the age of 65. He was born on June 19th, 1959 to the late Sammie and Anfinettie Bazzell, of Clarksville, Tennessee. He is also preceded in death by his loving Mamaw, Anna Belle Byrum. Brent is survived by his daughter, Brandi Bazzell Coon (Bobby), and his grandson, Aiden Stefko.
After 32 years with Clarksville Fire and Rescue, Brent retired from his position as an Engineer, a job that he was thoroughly proud of. He spent his retirement doing what he loved: playing guitar, woodworking, enjoying time with his family and friends, relaxing in his beloved recliner, fishing, drawing, and spending hours outside grilling and mowing grass (one of his favorite pastimes).
Brent was an avid guitar player and builder of custom guitars. He greatly enjoyed getting together with his good friend and drummer, James Mickle, to play music and have mini jam sessions out in his garage. He always said that it reminded him of his teenage days, and could often be heard working on new songs well into the late night. Brent was very proud of his collection of guitars, but always said that he “just might have room for one more”.
To honor his wishes, a private ceremony and celebration of Brent’s life will be entrusted to Sykes Funeral Home at a later date, here in Clarksville, Tennessee.
