Brenda Joyce Harp, age 72 of Indian Mound, TN passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Manor House in Dover, TN. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
The Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 13, 2015 at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Melvin Dunaway and Wayne Jackson officiating. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 12, 2015 and 12:00 p.m. until the hour of service on Monday, April 13, 2015 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Smith-Austin- Wallace Cemetery.
Brenda was born June 21, 1942 in Dover, TN to the late Hugh and Mary Stimson Rougemont. She was a housewife and a member of the Dover Church of Christ. She was an avid collector of cookbooks and glassware.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Tarlton Harp; daughter, Benita Harp; sisters, Mary (George) Wallace, Ann (Bill) Burt and nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be James Robert Daniel, Kenneth Harp, Kerry Crain, Ricky Wallace, Tony Keatts and Johnny Keatts.
