Bonnie Arms

A Celebration of Life service for Bonnie Nell Arms, age 86 of Clarksville, TN, will be Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at 12:00 PM at New Life Apostolic Church, 4712 Clarksville Pike, Nashville, TN 37218. Bro. Nathan Batson will officiate. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 13, 2022, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home and again on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, from 10:30 AM until the time of service at the church. Bonnie passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2022. She was born on February 13, 1936 in Clarksville, TN to William and Mary Patterson.

Bonnie was a member of Apostolic Faith Tabernacle Church for over 45 years and most recently a member of New Life Apostolic Church in Nashville. In the late 1980's she owned her own dress shop on Franklin Street named "Bonnie's Fancy Frills". She loved spending time with family and her lifelong friends, Southern Gospel music, road trips, and making sure everyone was fed with her delicious cooking. Bonnie also enjoyed collecting porcelain angels, Madame Alexander and Effanbee dolls and watching Fox News.
In addition to her parents Bonnie is preceded in death by her husband Buck Arms, daughter Cynthia Wimmer, and siblings Agnes Taylor and Bill Patterson. She is survived by her sons; Kenneth (Janice) Arms, Timothy Arms, and Jason Arms; son-in-law Charles Wimmer, Jr, sister Ruby George; brother- in - law Jerry Arms, Grandchildren: Nicholas (Brittney) Mays, Tonya (Bronson) Rickman, Derek (Emily) Arms, Andrea Mathews, Brianna Wimmer, and Taylor Arms; and 6 great-grandchildren.
