Birdie Lee Long, 86, Clarksville, TN, died Saturday, November 15, 2008, at Grace Health Care.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Don Helton and Phil Dunn officiating.
Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. till 8 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Monday at Sykes Funeral Home.
Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Long was born in Clarksville, TN, November 30, 1921, daughter of the late, W.B. "Dick" and Mattie Lee Beard Kenneda. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas "Ed" Long, her brother, J.B. Kenneda and a sister, Alice Ellis. Mrs. Long was a member of the Oakland Church of Christ.
Mrs. Long is survived by her daughter, Molly (Ricky) Brock of Clarksville, grandchildren, Christy (Neal) Cherry and Bryan (Carrie) Brock and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be, Ricky Brock, Bryan Brock, Neal Cherry, Dale Lewis, Danny Kennada and Douglas Parker. www.sykesfuneralhome.com
