Funeral service for Billy Joe Taylor, age 75 of Woodlawn, will be Saturday, Dec 29, 2012 at 10:00 am at Sykes Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Wilees Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, Dec 28, 2012 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Sykes Funeral Home.
Mr. Taylor passed away on Monday, Dec 24, 2012 at Gateway Medical Center. He was born on Mar 19, 1937 in Gainesboro, TN to the late Willie and Virgia Taylor. He was retired from the US Navy and was a farmer.
He is survived by his Sons, James Edward Taylor; David William Taylor; Daughter, Christa Joelle Taylor; Brother, Ray Taylor; Sister, Mary Ruth Jinright; Sister, Betty Campbell; Sister, Wanda Miller; Brother, Gordon Taylor; Grandchildren, James, Jamie, Jennifer, Timothy, Eric, Micah, Emilee, Great-Grandchildren, Cameron and Corey.
Pallbearers will be Grandsons, James, Timothy, Eric & Micah, also Dale Collins, Donnie Roe, and John Law.
