Billy Potter, Sr.

Funeral service for Billy Wayne Potter, Sr., age 77 of Clarksville, will be on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Sykes Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of service at Sykes Funeral Home.

Billy  passed away on Thursday, Jan 25, 2018 at Tennova Healthcare.  He was born on Jan 22, 1942 in Montgomery County, TN to Burette and Dorothy Potter. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother Otis Potter, sister Anita Verderber, and great grandson Adam Ryan Souza. He is survived by his sons; Wayne (Nikki) Potter Jr. and Scott (Rhonda Jo) Potter, 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and expecting 2 more.

Billy worked at Frosty Morn until it's closing. Afterwards he opened Billy Bob's bbq on Highway 79 where he worked daily until his retirement. he also enjoyed hunting and fishing in his free time.
