Beverly Ann Williams Roark, age 80, of Clarksville passed away Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Gateway Medical Center. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 11, 2013 at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Riley officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, March 10, 2013, 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Sykes Funeral home and 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Monday at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
She was born January 19, 1933 in Palo Pinto, MO to the late Charles M. and Pearle Miller Williams. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Vivian Chastain, Audrey Swearngin; brother, Cletus Williams and an infant granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Linkous. She earned her LPN degree in 1972 and worked in pediatrics at Lutheran Hospital in LaCrosse, WI. Her major career was that of a devoted wife and mother. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Clarksville.
She is survived by husband, Earl; children, David Earl Roark, Teresa Lynn (Randy) Chadwick, Scott (Sabrina) Roark; grandchildren, Matthew Roark of LaCrosse, WI, James Linkous of New York, NY, Jennifer Linkous Vaughan serving in the US Air Force, Andrew Roark, Anthony Roark, Amanda Roark all of Clarksville; great-grandchildren, Kennedy Roark of WI and Connor Liam Vaughan.
