Betty Jean Wilson Islas Hernandez, Clarksville, TN, died Friday, September 11, 2009, at Gateway Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 P.M. Monday at Sykes Funeral Home with Florence Talavera officiating. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Hernandez was born in Owensboro, KY to the late Carson Lee Wilson and Carrie Mae (Jenkins) Wilson. She was retired from Civil Service at Ft. Campbell. She is survived by her husband Ruben Hernandez of Clarksville, TN; sons, Steve (Patty) Miller of Owensboro, KY: Joey Islas of Bowling Green, KY; daughter, Becky States of Clarksville, TN; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. www.sykesfuneralhome.com
