Earlene Edwards, age 64, of Clarksville passed away Thursday, March 14th, 2013 at her residence. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Larry Robertson officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2013 and 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service on Sunday at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the McColpin Cemetery in Elkton, KY.
She was born on April 23, 1948 in Montgomery County to the late Richard Earl and Lillian Atkins Coleman. She was also preceded in death by brother, Dorris Coleman and sister, Linda Warner.
She was employed by the Trane Company for 44 years and a member of Hilldale Baptist Church.
She is survived by husband, Roger Edwards; son, Jason Edwards; daughter, Sandy (Barry) Batson; sister, Judy (Wayne) Holt; grandchildren, Chase Batson, Camryn Batson and Gage Edwards.
Pallbearers will be Mike Compton, Tony Johnson, Mike Smith, Roger Teague, Bob Edwards and Jim Edwards.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the McColpin Cemetery Fund, c/0 J. C. Monroe, 5715 Allegre Rd., Elkton, Ky 42220.
