Betty Sue Davenport Beers, age 82 of Clarksville passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Gateway Medical Center. Sykes Funeral Home& Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
The Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Sykes Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Brown officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, May 1, 2015 and 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
She was born in Clarksville, TN on July 22, 1932 to the late James Earnest and Minnie Mae Jeffries Davenport. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Thomas Davenport, James Davenport; sisters, Dorothy Francis and Martha Wynne.
She was a Housewife and former Daycare provider.
She is survived by her husband, Steven M. Beers; son, Howard Wayne (Pam) Patterson; daughter, Patricia Ann (Kim) Officer; sister, Lady Mae Stuard; grandchildren, Shawn Patterson, Alex Officer, Shay Patterson and great-granddaughter, Audrey Patterson.
Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
