1928-2012
A Memorial Service for Horton "Pops" Wickham will be Monday, November 12, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel. Chaplain Charles Thornburg will officiate. Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until the hour of service.
Mr. Wickham, age 84 of Clarksville, passed away November 7, 2012 at Signature Health Care.
Horton was born July 26, 1928 in Montgomery County to the late Charlie S. and Minnie Yarbrough Wickham. He was a self-employed mechanic most of his life, an Army Veteran, loved and known to many as "Pops".
"Pops" was preceded in death by his wife Shirley LaRose Wickham, daughters; Gail Wickham Rowe; infant daughter, Laura Lee Wickham; brothers, Bill, Charlie, Austin, and Johnny Sr. Wickham.
He is survived by his son, Sammy Wickham, grandchildren, Jacqueline Edgin, Jimmy Heflin, and Ben Wickham; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Hannah and Priscilla. Stepchildren; Mary, Barbara and Carla. Step-Grandchildren; LeAnn Compary, and Chris.
