Beatrice Ellen Bumpus, 93, Clarksville, died Monday, November 24, 2008, at Montgomery Care & Rehab.
The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Ferrell officiating.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. today and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Bumpus was born July 12, 1915 in Illinois, daughter of Jess and Lonnie Butler Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband Roger J. Bumpus and sons Bennie Richard Bumpus and Roger Bumpus, Jr.
She worked in retail sales and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her son Bobby Ted (Jeannie) Bumpus of Clarksville; daughter-in-law Connie Bumpus of PA; sister Lonnie Wheeler of Clarksville, four granddaughters; four great grandsons and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
