Audrey Gafford Rose, 94, Clarksville, died Sunday, December 21, 2008, at her home.
The funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bob Jones and Rev. Brian Baggett officiating.
Burial will be in Pleasant View Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Rose was born March 30, 1914 in Dickson County, daughter of the late Gideon Lee Gafford and Viney Bowker Gafford. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter Anita Page; husband Otis Rose; one brother and two sisters.
Mrs. Rose was a homemaker, a charter member of Bible Baptist Church and sang in the choir for over fifty years.
