Aubrey Lee Stallings (Retired US Army), 81, Cunningham, died Thursday, June 11, 2009, at Spring Meadows Nursing Home.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. with Military Honors at 7:00 P.M. Monday evening at the funeral home. Mr. Stallings was born on September 5, 1927 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama to the late George R. and Issie White Stallings. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Mildred Hutcherson Stallings and sisters, Jewel Keel and Lessell Hurst. He was of the Baptist faith and retired from the US Army with 25 plus years.
He is survived by sons, Curtis (Kathy) Stallings of Clarksville, Coy (Gwen) Stallings of Copperas Cove, TX, and Dale Stallings of Clarksville; daughters, Karen (Jay) Jagers of Clarksville, Tammie Burig of Clarksville, Shelbie (Mark) May of Cumberland Furnace, Randie (Darrin) Cilk of Cunningham; 18 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
